Sponsorships
Family Sponsorship
- Spouses or common-law partners: This is the most popular sponsorship category, allowing Canadians and permanent residents to sponsor their spouses or common-law partners for permanent residency.
- Dependent children: You can sponsor minor children, adopted children, and even some adult children with disabilities under this category.
- Parents and grandparents: This stream allows Canadians and permanent residents to sponsor their parents or grandparents for permanent residency, subject to income requirements and quotas.
Other Sponsorship Options
- Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs): Several PNPs have streams where family members or employers can sponsor skilled workers for permanent residency.
- Humanitarian and Compassionate Cases: Individuals facing hardship or persecution outside Canada may be eligible for sponsorship from groups or individuals in Canada.
